2016 All Star Games: The Year of the Nations
Every year, the question is raised: how are they going to top last year’s All Star Games? For the 2016 All Star Games, Luke Johnson and David Steely not only exceeded expectations by hosting it at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino and invited rapper “Wish” to headline at the opening ceremonies, but added a new event into the aerial sports mix: Parkour.
Luke Johnson, founder of the All Star Games, made it his mission to have a competition that encouraged creativity, honored athleticism, and inspired performance. Athletes from across the world will come to Las Vegas for one weekend to show off what they’ve got in one of the six events: team and solo events in Cheer, Stunt, Synchro, Tricking, Tumbling, and the newly added Parkour. Trust us, you haven’t seen aerial sports in action until you’ve attended the All Star Games.
GK Cheer is proud to be the official cheerleading apparel sponsor of the third annual All Star Games. This exhilarating event is so much more than a competition, it unites aerial sports from all different disciplines under one roof for the most exciting and intense display of extreme sports in the fastest moving city in the world: Las Vegas.
As the official event sponsors, GK Cheer will be selling exclusive event apparel, and providing cheer products from our GK All Star and Under Armour Sideline Cheer product lines. You’ll also be able to step into the future by trying on the new GK Fusion Cheer Shoe.
We will be offering a private design consultation with GK’s most experienced cheerleading uniform designer, Julia Kline. To ensure you get the chance to create a custom All Star cheer uniform, sign up and choose your desired time slot at registration.
Good luck to all of the athletes competing in the 2016 All Star Games: The Year of the Nations! We look forward to cheering you on from the sidelines.
