Are You Ready to Be eXtreme? Woodward XCC Cheerleading Announces Open Tryouts!

The Woodward eXtreme Cheer Camp (XCC) Cheerleading Team is looking for a few new members! XCC exploded out of their first season winning the Indianapolis Jamfest Super National Championship title in their very first competition, as well as Cheersport's So-You-Think-You-Can-Tumble Championships. What does such an eXtreme cheer team wear? GK cheerleading uniforms, of course!

XCC is a cheer team that competes and performs at events to highlight the high skill level and fun attitude of staff and select campers from Woodward Camp. Team XCC's primary purpose is to serve as public relations ambassadors of Woodward Camp and its cheer program. XCC supports the cheerleader's current All Star or College cheer team career. Woodward XCC competes in the Level 6 Open Coed division. For XCC, the main goal of competition is demonstration, entertainment, and fun!

Team XCC presents opportunities for younger cheerleaders to:

learn about camp
have the ability to join a high level team regardless of location
Have a repertoire of role models in the cheer community with the ability to work alongside and learn from them

The team is open to any past/present camper or staff member that will be 16 or older by January 2012. Tryouts will be held during the summer of 2012 or by video submission. For complete XCC tryout and registration information, click here!

The "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team" series on Country Music Television (CMT)will launch the new season on Friday, October 15th. GK Elite Sportswear LP, the official provider of workout, rehearsal and appearance attire for the world famous squad will have its first debut of custom apparel designed for the auditions.

The relationship began when Kelli Finglass, the Director of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, attended a fashion show featuring the new collection of GK cheerleading apparel. The collection included innovative practice attire, warm-ups and uniforms for cheerleaders.
What captured the attention of Kelli Finglass was the fit, jewel detailing and innovative styling.

Maryland Twisters at Cheer Camp 2010

The Maryland Twisters attended Cheer Camp this year wearing new Camp Apparel from GK! Pictured below are the New Captains of the 2010 F5 Team!
