NCSTA Inaugural Meet - University of Maryland Wearing GK Cheer Unis!

On February 5, 2010, the inaugural meet for the National Competitive Stunts and Tumbling Association was held at Kennesaw State University, in Kennesaw, Georgia. The NCSTA's format consists of collegiate teams competing in an events-based format similar to gymnastics. Each team competes in five events including a team routine. The other four are stunts, tumbling, basket toss, and pyramid. The four skill events consist of a compulsory portion and an optional portion. Teams are evaluated on the same skill in the compulsory portion and are permitted to select their skills for the optional portion. Each team
is scored for each event and the team with the highest score overall

wins.

Teams participating in this groundbreaking event included the University of Maryland, University of Oregon, University of Georgia, Fort Valley State University, Quinnipiac, and Fairmont State.

Cheer Alliance' Hot new Unis

"We could not be happier with the way our semi-custom designed GK Cheer Uniforms turned out! We were able to implement all the special details to our uniform without the custom price tag.

Cheer Alliance; Together Strong has the "CATS" acronym in our name. We were thrilled to find out that we could get "sparkly Cheetah spankies" built right into our skirts, and a claw mark over the shoulder out of the same hot fabric! It is every cheerleader's favorite part of the uniform. The crisscross back design is so unique and we were able to embroider our "Together Strong" motto right on there.

We started off designing this year's uniform with some prerequisites since the level of tumbling and stunting has advanced so much in cheerleading. It was important to have our uniform made with stretch fabrics that fit right, comfortable to be worn all day, eye-catching on the performance floor and a unique look to represent our organization. Our motions and formation changes really pop with the two different arm colors; it was exactly what we were looking for. Our professional choreographers loved working with and integrating our uniform design into the routine. GK answered all of our wishes, and our cheerleaders' uniforms are on the top of every organization's favorite one of the year!"

Maryland Twisters F5 - New Zebra Uniforms

Always the trendsetters, the Maryland Twisters F5 team is looking Fierce in their new Zebra Competition Cheer Uniforms from GK Elite. F5 - The Maryland Twisters Large All Girl Senior Level 5 Team, is so excited for these new Unis. The New unis include a wild designed top with Zebra Print fabric and super sparkling Crystal F5 across the front, and a matching cheer skirt

No ne out there is making Unis like this. No Zippers or binding edges to get in the way. And they stretch to perfection.

These new Unis debuted at Jamfest Nationals in January. Definitely a hit!

Twisters Storm Jamfest Nationals - REIGN Supreme!

The Maryland Twisters Reign team Performed this weekend at the Jamfest Nationals (Indianapolis, IN January 15-17) in their NEW GK Cheer Unis!

Reign, the Maryland Twisters Small Limited Coed Level 5 Team, is the Most Winning All Start Team in the Country, and won the Nfinity Cup in 2009

They chose Jamfest Nationals to debut this new uniform - which is actually their second. The team carries two competition cheer uniforms for different events. They were on tap to replace their "traditional" uniform, to compliment the GK unis that they purchased last year. And after looking at their options, had to go back to GK. Its all about the fit and the look!

In fact, the team members did extra fundraising just to get them. Otherwise they would have to wait, or settle for less than what they wanted.

The Reign Uniforms include a Cheer Crop Top Uni with matching Cheer Shorts. For Guys, matching Long Tops and Pants. All Unis are jeweled by GK to shine under the lights.

Philadelphia 76rs Dancers - In GK Cheer Apparel

The Philadelphia 76rs needed an update to their Uniforms for the 2009-2010 season. And they found their look with GK Cheer Wear!

The 76rs girls chose our new V-Waist Pants in Black Sylktech fabric, Accented with Crystals along the waistband.

Thier custom Bra Top is also Black Sylktech with crystals around the body - meeting in the center in a V.
