Nearing the fourth year of their cheerleading program, Co-Owners and Co-Coaches, Jamie Hughes and her sister, Lauren Hughes, decided to start a brand new program. Same dream - a new team - and a totally fierce outlook. And with that, Carolina Fierce Gems Cheerleading was born. A fierce outlook requires a fierce look and with the help of the Hughes sisters, GK created the perfect custom cheer uniform for their new program.
Lauren and Jamie told us, "We chose GK cheer uniforms after falling in love with the jewel work on other GK cheer uniforms we saw last season. We loved the GK look during competition. Once we spoke with a very helpful GK representative, there was no question that we were going with GK. All of our kids, parents and fans love our new GK uniforms, and so do we! It all starts with a design idea, color inspiration and, of course, bling! For the top, the Gems chose GK's Fierce Strappy Uniform Top U144L with an asymmetrical neck, strappy back, and cut out detail. The Special Order Cheerleading Skirt, Low Rise Left Hip Panel Skirt U731L, features a coordinating asymmetrical design that forms a V on left hip. Both pieces feature Sunshine Mystique and Black DryTech and the top has a stark contrast in White Mystique. The Fierce logo glitters and the style lines shine on the top and bottom of the women's cheer uniform with Clear and Mango Crystal Jewels.
